Staff at Shetland House

STAFF AT SHETLAND HOUSE

Currently there are five staff employed in the office at Shetland House. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce them to you as these are the people who deal with your telephone queries on a day to day basis. They each have specific secretarial roles although each is able to carry out all duties and procedures required to maintain the smooth running of the Society.

Claire Lindsay

Claire has taken on the role of Office Manager, where she has specific duties including staff management, correspondence officer, newsletter publication, stud-book publication. She works full-time and deals with all administration in the running of the office. She is the Foal and Passport Secretary. She has worked for the Society for 13 years and many members have met her when she has been in attendance at the sales.

Kate Forret

Kate has been with the Society for 7 years and works full-time. She is particularly involved with running the Grassroots database system and compiles the Society Show Scheme Awards. Kate is particularly knowledgeable with regard to International registration and importing procedures.

Angela Houston

Angela has been with the Society for 12 years and works part-time. She is largely responsible for the Society accounts, but is also at home processing registrations and dealing with general registration queries.

Pauline Young

Pauline has worked for the Society part-time for 7 years and is able to work in all departments and is involved with the production of the yearly magazine. Pauline also deals with International registrations and queries.

Victoria McAinsh

Victoria has been with the society for 4 years and is responsible for changes of ownership and membership subscriptions along with sorting out the daily post which is considerable.

Kate, Claire and Victoria  Full time
Pauline  9.15am to 2.45pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Angela  9am to 11am Monday and Friday, 9am to 3pm Wednesday and Thursday
