Society Membership
Various categories of membership are available allowing for individual, joint or family membership. Joint membership is applicable to two adults living at the same address; a Family subscription is available for two adults and up to three children under 16 years of age living at the same address and Junior membership is available for those under sixteen years of age. Anyone over sixteen years old may become a Life Member, either individually or as a joint Life Member with another adult living at the address.
Associate membership provides Newsletters only and neither Associate or Junior members have voting rights. All memberships, other than life subscriptions, fall due for renewal on 1st January each year, irrespective of the time of year the member joined. Reminders are not sent to individuals a renewal slip is included in the October and January Newsletters for convenience.
Subscriptions may be paid by standing order with the relevant form available from the Office. If your subscription is not paid by 1st March, a late payment penalty fee of 5 for individual memberships or 10 for joint or family memberships will be payable in addition to the normal fee.
Four Newsletters are produced each year and sent to Members. If you have more than one Member in your household (individual Members, not Joint Members), you will automatically receive a copy of the Newsletter for each Member e.g. if there is a Junior and an adult Member. If you would like to help us to save on postage costs and receive only one copy, please advise the Office of this in writing. Another benefit of membership is reduced rates for registrations and transfer fees.

Membership fees not renewed by 1st March in the relevant year will be held in arrears and no further newsletters will be sent until the arrears is paid
